About the Artist

I’m Aureja, an artist and illustrator from Lithuania, drawn to the soft light, forest paths, and the quiet magic of everyday beauty.

My love for art began in childhood and was nurtured through years of art school, even as I pursued a degree in economics. Over time, life brought the joys of motherhood and a fulfilling career in photography. Yet the gentle call of painting never faded, and I returned to it with renewed clarity - a brush in hand and a heart ready to capture the world.

Though I began with oils, watercolor has become the heart of my practice. Its soft rhythms and delicate flow allow me to connect deeply with nature and the quiet moments of life. Today, I draw inspiration from Kulautuva - a serene town nestled in a forest near Kaunas, Lithuania - where the natural world is not just a subject, but the rhythm of everyday life.

Each piece is created with care and intention, whether it is a high-quality print, a design for everyday items, or an original painting for serious collectors. It is my joy to share my work with you, and my hope is that it brings the same sense of pause, grounding, and gentle wonder that I experience while creating it.

Thank you for visiting Aureja Studio - your presence here is truly cherished.
